Loki ki Qalaqand
A traditional South Asian milk sweet made with bottle gourd and Sucral — indulgent without the guilt
Ingredients
Bottle gourd – 1 kg
Evaporated milk solids – 250 grams,
Clarified butter – 2 tbsps
Cooking Instructions
In a pot boil bottle gourd with green food colour until soft. Strain and squeeze excess water. Add evaporated milk solids and Sucral and cook till thick. Add cardamom powder and clarified butter. Cook until mixture leaves sides of pan. Transfer to a dish, garnish with dry fruits and let it cool. Cut into equal pieces and serve.
Why This Works with Rite Salt?
