
Spicy Tomato Sauce
A traditional South Asian milk sweet made with bottle gourd and Sucral — indulgent without the guilt
Tomatoes paste - ½ kg
Tomato puree - 1 cup
Potatoes (boiled and mashed) - 2
Onions (chopped) - 1
Red chilli flakes - 1½ tosp
Chicken stock - 2 litres
Bread slices (small pieces) - 3 slices
Fresh cream - 1 cup
Chopped coriander - 3 tbsps
White vinegar - ½ cup
Oil - for frying
RITE SALT - 1 TBSP
Mix tomatoes, tomato paste, potatoes, onions, red chilli and chicken stock in a pot and let it come to a boil. Add Rite Salt. Turn off the flame.
Once it cools, put it all in a blender to make a smooth mixture. Heat oil in a frying pan and fry bread pieces until golden. Sprinkle this delicious soup with fresh coriander
