Spicy Tomato Sauce

A traditional South Asian milk sweet made with bottle gourd and Sucral — indulgent without the guilt

  • Tomatoes paste - ½ kg

  • Tomato puree - 1 cup

  • Potatoes (boiled and mashed) - 2

  • Onions (chopped) - 1

  • Red chilli flakes - 1½ tosp

  • Chicken stock - 2 litres

  • Bread slices (small pieces) - 3 slices

  • Fresh cream - 1 cup

  • Chopped coriander - 3 tbsps

  • White vinegar - ½ cup

  • Oil - for frying

  • RITE SALT - 1 TBSP

Mix tomatoes, tomato paste, potatoes, onions, red chilli and chicken stock in a pot and let it come to a boil. Add Rite Salt. Turn off the flame.

Once it cools, put it all in a blender to make a smooth mixture. Heat oil in a frying pan and fry bread pieces until golden. Sprinkle this delicious soup with fresh coriander
